Black Painted Corner Cube Prism for Fundus Imaging
Our black painted corner cube prism is a precision optical component designed for fundus imaging systems and other ophthalmic imaging equipment. The prism combines precision corner cube geometry with silver reflective coatings, protective black paint, and an anti-reflection coating on the entrance surface.
The optical design provides controlled beam reflection and stable angular performance, making the prism suitable for compact imaging systems where optical path management and stray-light control are important.

Optical Design and Coatings
The black painted corner cube prism uses three silver-coated reflective surfaces to provide high reflectivity across the specified wavelength range. The reflective surfaces are additionally protected with black paint to improve durability and help control unwanted reflections within the optical assembly.
The entrance surface can be treated with an AR coating to reduce surface reflection and improve light transmission. For the current design, the AR coating specification is Ravg <0.5% from 650–1050 nm at 0° AOI, while the silver-coated reflective surfaces provide Rabs >95% from 650–1050 nm.
